Happy Birthday to the US of A! 241 years young and still going strong. The 4th of July is here and what better way to celebrate our independence than with… booze! We’ve put together a patriotic punch, an independent imbibe – The Red, White and Booze cocktail.

Three separate summertime favorites combine to make a beautifully layered and perfectly festive accompaniment to your weekend celebrations.

Red, White & Booze Cocktail Recipe


 

Bar Accessories & Glasses

Ingredients (makes 2 servings)

The Red, White & Booze cocktail consists of layering three (3) classic summertime cocktails including the (1) Blue Hawaiian, (2) Piña Colada and (3) Strawberry Daiquiri cocktails.

Blue Hawaiian

  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz of cream of coconut
  • 2 cups of ice
Piña Colada

  • 1.5 oz of cream of coconut
  • 1.5 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 2 cups of ice
Strawberry Daiquiri

  • 5 large strawberries
  • 2 oz light rum
  • 2 tspn sugar
  • lime juice from 1/2 of lime
  • 2 cups of ice

Directions

Blue Hawaiian:
Combine the Blue Hawaiian ingredients in blender. Mix on high speed until smooth. Pour into chilled highball glass.

Piña Colada:
Combine the Piña Colada ingredients in blender. Mix on high speed until smooth. Pour into chilled highball glass.

Strawberry Daiquiri:
Combine the Strawberry Daiquiri ingredients in blender. Mix on high speed until smooth. Pour into chilled highball glass.

The Red, White & Booze (putting it all together):
First, layer the Blue Hawaiian at the bottom one-third of the hurricane glass. Then, add the Piña Colada in the middle one-third of the hurricane glass. Next, simply top the hurricane glass off with the Strawberry Daiquiri. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and strawberries. Enjoy!
